Privacy Policy

46-0 is a free, unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the EFL, any club, competition, player, or manager; all names are used for identification and homage only. We collect as little as possible. Here is exactly what we do and don't do with your data.
The short version
- No account is needed to play.
- We never collect your name, email, location, contacts or photos - unless you choose to sign in (below).
- No advertising cookies. We never sell your data.
- The game plays identically whether or not you share anything with us.
Analytics
We use cookieless, anonymous usage stats (roughly how many people play and which screens get used). No tracking cookies, no cross-app tracking. To count unique players, the game keeps a single random id on your device and sends it to our server about once a day - it is not linked to your name or any account and contains no personal information.
Saved on your device
Your preferences and progress (such as your last formation, in-progress seasons, and a random local key for your own leaderboard entries) are stored on your device and never leave it.
Leaderboard (optional)
If you submit a score we store the team name you typed, your score, manager, formation and mode. The name can be anything you choose, entries are public, and no personal data is required. Submitting is entirely optional.
Sign in & cloud save (optional)
You can play the whole game without signing in. If you choose to Sign in with Apple, we create an account so your season record, trophies and achievements sync across your devices. We store the identifier Apple gives us and, only if you choose to share it, your email - nothing else. We never see your Apple password, never sell it, and use it solely to save and restore your own progress. You can sign out anytime, and permanently delete your account and all of its cloud data from within the app (Profile, then “Delete account & data”) or by emailing us.
Community content
Leaderboard team names are typed by players. By submitting, you agree not to use anything hateful, harassing, obscene or otherwise objectionable - we have zero tolerance for it.Names pass an automatic filter, every entry can be reported with the ⚑ button next to it, and we remove anything that breaks the rules (and bar repeat offenders), normally within 24 hours.
Notifications
The app can send a local reminder (for example, that the day's Daily Challenge is live). These are scheduled on your device, contain no personal data, and are never tracked by our servers. We ask your permission first, and you can turn them off anytime.
Who handles your data
We do not sell, trade or share your data for advertising. We use a small number of trusted service providers purely to host the game and store the leaderboard and, if you sign in, your cloud save - each under their own privacy policy. Optional sign-in is provided by Sign in with Apple. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store, which may collect its own download and crash statistics under Apple's privacy policy. Fonts and flags are bundled inside the game - no third-party content network is contacted as you play.
Your rights & children
Under UK and EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete any data we hold. Since we collect so little, there is usually nothing to delete. If you signed in, you can delete your account and all of its cloud data anytime from within the app, or email us. 46-0 is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
